WINTER TRIPS
NORTHWEST MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE LTD.
In the winter months we offer guided backcountry ski touring, split-boarding, ski mountaineering and Avalanche Safety Training Courses AST 1 & AST 2. Also winter backcountry skill development courses in wilderness navigation, glacier travel & crevasse rescue. These adventures & courses are offered through Northwest Mountain Experience.
Offering day trips, multi-day overnight hut or lodge based trips, remote basecamps & ski traverses. Self propelled adventures with optional helicopter, snowcat or snowmobile access to the backcountry. All inclusive trips with guide, catering service & logistics provided.
Guided summer alpine hiking day trips & multi-day adventures are also available.
Based from Slocan BC, trips are offered locally in the Monashee, Selkirk & Purcell Ranges of the Columbia Mountains. Also in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Coast Range and international venues.
